About

Tobias Johnston is a photographer based in both the UK and Taiwan, drawn to documenting the fading architecture and heritage of both countries.

His work mainly focusses on capturing objects and scenes embodying the passage of time and states of transition — those whose contexts have changed or are changing, often caught in the ripple effects following some great upheaval or shift in the order of their worlds.

He also likes to shoot non-pretentious sounding things too.
